|Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a national level entrance examination conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) every year as per the directions of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. The CMAT is a three hour computer based online test which is conducted in a single session to evaluate the candidate’s ability across various segments like Quantitative Technique, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness. This test facilitates Institutions to select suitable graduate candidates for admission in all Management programs. The CMAT score is accepted by all AICTE-Approved Institutions/University Departments/Constituent Colleges/Affiliated Colleges. The CMAT 2016 will be conducted on 17th January 2016.|
|Eligibility for CMAT 2016 Exam|
Graduates in any discipline can apply for CMAT exam.
Final year students of Graduate Courses (10+2+3) whose result will be declared before commencement of admission for academic year 2016-17 can also apply for CMAT online exam.
|How to apply|
|To appear for CMAT 2016, the candidates are required to fill and submit CMAT Application Form. The CMAT Registration 2016 started from 03 November 2015 and will conclude on 10 December 2015. The candidates can apply for the test in online mode only.|
|The candidates belonging to General category are required to pay Rs. 1400/- + Bank charges as applicable for any test centre chosen in India while the candidates belonging to Reserved categories are required to pay Rs. 700/- + Bank charges as applicable.|
The fee is non refundable and can be paid either online via Credit Card/Debit Card/Net banking or through cash at any SBI Bank branch in India against the Challan generated online at the time of the registration.
|The result of CMAT will furnish the section-wise score and total score of the candidates. The merit list will be provided to the respective State Governments for allotting the candidates via a central counselling according to their notified admission procedure.|
